02. Overview

A PORTRAIT OF QUIET POWER.

Echoes of the Lion was designed around presence rather than spectacle. The animal’s expression is calm and unwavering, framed by a field of soft botanical shadow that opens into clean skin. Illustrative realism gives the portrait a human intimacy, while the surrounding details allow the image to breathe and shift with the shape of the thigh.

03. Process

FINDING PRESENCE IN THE DETAILS.

We started by refining the portrait until the expression carried the right balance of authority and calm. A loose botanical frame was then added to guide the eye without competing with the face. Over three sessions, the tonal range was built gradually, moving from light washes to deep shadows. The completed work holds its focus quietly, revealing more texture each time it is seen.
